Our more feminine style of Pinot Noir, produced to be aromatic and pretty with soft, elegant red-fruit flavours. We aim for this wine to be multilayered and approachable young, with an emphasis on the primary fruit. Underneath, this wine is serious at heart and will evolve with age into a dark, broody Pinot Noir.

The 2016 displays dark cherries, rhubarb and wild strawberries on the nose with underlying hints of spice and chocolate. The fleshy, red-fruited palate is complexed by some stalky, whole-bunch tannin and culminates in a long and savoury finish.
“Light, faintly turbid colour; a pinot with personality and punch to it’s mix of fresh red and sour cherries; has very good line and length. 94/100 points
What do you love about aged wine?
“I love seeing previously hidden characters developing new layers of complexity. Our Orange Pinot Noirs build in the mid-palate. The rich chocolate and earthiness balances with the red fruits and savouriness already present.”
